This unit is a proprietary unit for processing
through services offered by TeleCheck and First Data Corporation.
Your
Eclipse® not working?
MerchantSource® is a Authorized provider through TASQ
Technologies for merchant's
needing to submit
their terminals for repair. All merchant's
are required
to contact us via phone for this process, followed
up with a sign Repair Order Request.
We
will ask you the following questions:
- What
is the Serial Number of your Eclipse®?
- What
Version is your Eclipse®? *Please note that older versions
may not be able to be worked on.
- What
problems are you experiencing with your Eclipse®?
The Repair Process:
Once we
have obtained answers to the above questions we will submit
the request for an RA # (Return Authorization Number). This takes approximately 24 hours to obtain. NO unit
can be shipped in for repair without prior written RA# and
payment in advance for the repair.
- A form will be emailed to you for your signature and payment authorization for the $195.00.
- Once we have the RA# we will email you the instruction sheet, which will contain the RA#, of the steps you are to follow in sending in the exact terminal in which the RA# was issued.
Repair
time can take 8 to 10 weeks for services to be performed by
Verifone.
*There
is a one time nonrefundable diagnostic fee of $195.00 per
unit which covers the basic diagnostic evaluation and minor
repairs charged by TASQ & Verifone, applicable sales tax,
shipping charges back to you after repair is completed and
the processing and handling fee for MerchantSource® to
facilitate this. You also agree and acknowledge and accept
that MerchantSource® is not responsible for shipping
errors and or damages, repair of the unit or the time period
necessary for this repair.
You must
call us directly at 1-800-313-5198 to request a repair on
your Eclipse® credit card, ATM/debit card, check processing
terminal.
Repair of your unit is NOT guaranteed. Once the manufacturer has evaluated the defective equipment, if it is determined that the repair(s) to the Eclipse unit will cost more than the above stated fee, you will will be notified by us, MerchantSource® and provided the manufacturers options that are available to you, (i.e. to repair unit and pay, if any additional cost, or to "scrap" the unit).
